Premature ejaculation or problems with ejaculating is the most common sexual problem in men under forty. Premature ejaculation can lead to low confidence and self esteem, depression, anxiety and feelings of failure failure, guilt, worry etc . especially when with a new partner.
Many younger men go through a phase of premature ejaculation early in their sexual life, however its long term persistence or reoccurrence later in life leads to a very common but equally “embarrassing” problem. Premature ejaculation can be exacerbated by psychological factors e.g. stress, anxiety and emotional tensions. Part of the problem also is that it leads to “performance anxiety” which is itself a symptom of Social Phobia (the fear of being judged or put on the spot).
Hypnoanalysis successfully addresses Premature Ejaculation by dealing with the root source problem of deep seated psychological factors. Shortly after completing successfully completing Hypnoanalysis clients find their problem is resolved, for good.
Problems Orgasming -Anorgasmia, Orgasmic Dysfunction, Impotence:
Fear of sexual intercourse or any sexual interaction often leads to avoidance of any potential sexual contact or the situation where no pleasure is gained sex even if orgasm is reached. This can be very limiting in life and relationships and at the least very frustrating for the individual.
In women Anorgasmia describes the complete inability to orgasm (Primary Anorgasmia) or extreme difficulty in reaching orgasm as either Secondary Anorgasmia (women who’ve had orgasms in the past but are no longer able to) or most commonly Situational Anorgasmia and/or Orgasmic Dysfunction – a woman can only climax during a very specific sexual activity, orgasms when asleep, or can’t climax with a partners, during intercourse, or when masturbating.
Anorgasmia in men is defined by the inability to ejaculate. Impotence in men is where a man finds it difficult to achieve or maintain an erection during sex (aka Male Erectile Disorder or Erectile dysfunction). This can lead to feeling of failure, frustration, inadequacy, rejection and feeling pressured/on the spot.
These conditions can be brought on or worsened by medical conditions and treatments e.g. Multiple Sclerosis (MS), diabetes, antidepressants, blood pressure medications, or Gynaecological surgery. However, there is more often than not a deep seated psychological element to the problem – stress, anxiety, depression, guilt feelings etc. which all strongly affect the body and mind balance.
Hypnoanalysis and Hypnotherapy can help and remove Anorgasmia, Orgasmic Dysfunction and Impotence by resolving those psychological factors.
Sex Drive/Hypoactive sexual desire disorder/Inhibitions/Nymphomania:
A broad range of symptoms stem from deep seated inhibitions and/or a lack of desire for sex. Low libido and the often accompanying avoidance of sexual intercourse can cause frustrations and be very detrimental to relationships.
Often the problems come from just one in a partnership. They may have a very low self image, have strongly associated feelings of guilt and shame around sex, or see it as dirty or wrong, or just be deathly embarrassed talking about sex or bodily functions at all.
Just as many problems can come from the other end of the spectrum where an individual has an excessive sex drive and appetite, compulsively repeatedly using sex as a way to calm themselves and feel “normal” – they may even describe themselves as “addicted to sex”.
Hypnoanalysis and Hypnotherapy can help resolve the psychological factors behind these problems, often resulting in a very enjoyable and liberating change in one’s feelings towards sex.
Difficulties having sex – Vaginismus/pain during intercourse (Dyspareunia):
Vaginismus is the involuntary contraction of the muscles around the vagina entrance. This makes penetration painful and sometimes impossible. Vaginismus may occur at any time in a woman’s life and can affect not only sexual intercourse but also may extend to the use of tampons, having medical examinations etc. Often the stress of “trying” to have sex causes frustrations for the sufferer, subsequently puts pressure on any relationship, may lead to loss of libido, self esteem problems, fear of the pain of sex, depression and anxiety etc.
Vaginismus is not due to a physical abnormality of the vagina, or lack of lubrication (although this can lead to similar symptoms), or to that woman’s vagina being smaller than normal – as it’s only appearing smaller (or nonexistent) due to the strong spasm of the vaginal sphincter.
As this is predominantly a psychological problem that expresses itself physically Hypnoanalysis and Hypnotherapy can and frequently does help resolve Vaginismus for good.
Rape/Assualt/Childhood Sexual Abuse/feelings of guilt and shame:
Previous experiences of child abuse can affect adult relationships in many ways. Feelings of guilt, shame, insecurity, fear of sex, or the need for sex only with a certain type of partner can often result. Those problems and feelings need not haunt you for the rest of your life as Hypnoanalysis really can help to resolve these lasting issues once and for all.
